Hi, I'm Rachel Lyle!

I'm serious about words, but not so serious about myself. I feel deeply, so I write poetry, essays, and fiction that reflect that experience. My goal when writing is always to carve away at what I think it should be, so I can let it be what it is. I do love a good metaphor, so if you aren't a fan of abstract prose, I might not be your cup of tea. :) By the way, In all the years of my life that I dreamed of being a writer (which is all of them), I never once imagined that I would have to say this, but here we are: However good or bad you find it, my work is mine alone, produced by human intelligence via my brain.
